Have enjoyed my meal at every visit, with a takeaway container provided for my tiny tummy. Supported as a solo diner.

First, the food was incredible. Every dish we ordered was full of rich, authentic flavors, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. It’s clear the chefs put so much care into each plate, and we left completely satisfied. The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with any questions we had about the menu. They made sure our water glasses were always full and checked in on us regularly, making us feel welcome from start to finish. To top it off, the restaurant’s atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s the kind of place that feels cozy yet lively, perfect for a casual meal with friends or a nice evening out. I’ll definitely be coming back soon—this is now one of my favorite spots for delicious Indian food!

It's amazing that it is still possible to find amazing restaurants way out of the city area. This was my first time in the Punjabi Pantry and certainly won't be my last. We were welcomed at the door by a gentleman with a fantastic curled mustache and immediately sat at a table that didn't feel like we were crowded amongst the other diners. The meals arrived at the table rather quickly with our entrée being given enough time to stay ahead of the mains. Our selection, the tandoori chicken was one of the best chicken meals I have ever had and I would absolutely be happy with just this going forward. Our selection of curries, naan paired with riata and mixed pickles came out as we finished the entrée. These were exciting and quite enjoyable, however, I didn't feel the heat from the vindaloo and the I would have appreciated more of the mixed pickles. The portion sizes are acceptable for an Indian restaurant, but you may find a curry on its own too small. But half the fun is sharing anyway. We were certainly full and satisfied at the end of our meal.

Great Indian in the high street. Food came out incredibly quickly, was hot & full of flavour. The 4 of us all cleaned our plate - see photos. Compliments to the chefs. Would highly recommend.

This is hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve visited in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the aroma of fresh spices and the welcoming smiles made us feel at home. The curries were rich and flavourful, the naan soft and buttery, and the tandoori dishes cooked to perfection. If you love real Indian food made with heart this place is a must-try!

We are from Sydney and have plenty of options when it comes to Indian food- this is hands down the best Indian restaurant we have been to. The service was attentive, polite and efficient despite being so busy. Dining here felt like being gently carried across India by its spice and soul. The aromas alone were enough to slow time.

A truly delightful dining experience. The menu offers an impressive range of traditional Indian dishes prepared with care and authenticity. Every bite reflected the chef’s skill — from the tender tandoori meats to the perfectly balanced curries. The service was courteous and efficient, and the atmosphere elegant yet comfortable. Without a doubt, one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.

We were in the area so decided to try one of the few restaurants open in Leongatha. We had the Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo and the Palak Paneer. The Vindaloo had a kick to it as it should with a tangy sauce. The Palak Paneer was creamy with a generous amount of Paneer. The Butter chicken We felt was a little too sweet and thought the sauce should be a little thicker. The Naan is fresh and tasty. I also have to commend them on having one of the cleanest restaurant toilets I've seen. The facility was out the back and in a separate building but was kept pristine.
